Digital color workflow for a CAD/CAM dentistry

Lecture Description: 

Digital dentistry has an important role in todays clinics. CAD/CAM solutions are more frequent in clinics and dental labs all over the world. There are several materials in the market to use in different clinical situations, getting to know them and their correct application is something that clinicians need to learn. Mechanical materials characteristics, optical properties and their behavior over different substrates will determine the success of the restoration.

Objective: 
  1. To provide basics of color matching CAD/CAM restorations.
  2. To provide specifics of color matching CAD/CAM restorations.
  3. To provide clinical tips for color matching CAD/CAM restorations.
About presenter: 

Dr. José Gabriel Martínez is a Venezuelan dentist who lives in Barcelona, Spain. He is a dentist from the Universidad Central de Venezuela (Venezuela 2006). He had a Postgraduate in Oral Surgery at the Vicente Toledo Foundation of the Universidad de Carabobo (Venezuela 2008) and more recently a Master in Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry and Research at the Universitat International de Catalunya (Spain 2015). His vocation for dentistry makes him to dedicate part of his time to the private practice exclusive in phosthodontics, conservative and esthetic dentistry at Munt Espai Dental in Barcelona. The rest of the time, Dr. Martínez teaches at the Universitat International de Catalunya in Barcelona. He is an associate professor working at the Master degree of Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry, and Operative and Adhesion Dentistry of the undergrads program.
