The perfectly imperfect smile

Lecture Description:

One of the most dominant features of the human face is the expression of the smile. Healthy bright teeth provides both genders with an aesthetically pleasing appearance, while producing a balanced facial structure. On the contrary, in many cases due to continuous years of functional wear, inadvertently leading to a volumetric loss of tooth structure, the facial contour and smile can appear to be uneven. With careful planning and a great team of clinician and master ceramist, patients can achieve a more youthful overall appearance with a more beautiful smile.

Objective:
  1. Fundamental key to success: De- and re-programming the patient’s brain to adapt to current situation inside their mouth
  2. Criteria and parameters to achieve a balanced smile
  3. Biomimetics and the evolution of smile Challenges in the digital workflow: Minimally-invasive digital dentistry and micro precision
